Joe Musgrove Throws Shade At Justin Turner After Dodgers-Padres Game

It hasn't been the best season for Justin Tuner, but some of Joe Musgrove's comments might give him the fuel to keep playing like he did Thursday night.

After the game, reporters caught up with Joe Musgrove following the loss vs. the Dodgers to talk about the two HR's that Justin Turner hit off him. Here is what Musgrove said:

"When he's in the box, I don't feel like he's a huge threat... out of all the guys in the lineup, I didn't feel like he was a huge threat."

Justin Turner's solo home run in the second inning tied the score at 1-1. Joe Musgrove, who entered Thursday third in the NL with a 2.12 ERA, needed 73 pitches to get through six innings. Turner later broke the tie with a two-run shot to center field.

The Dodgers are currently in first place in the NL West ahead of the San Diego Padres at 47-28.
