Another scary situation for former Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen.

The Braves announced Tuesday that closer Kenley Jansen has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to an irregular heartbeat. The move is retroactive to June 27.

It’s a worrisome ailment for Jansen, though this is far from the first time the 34-year-old has dealt with the issue. Jansen has been placed 3 times on the injured list for an irregular heartbeat. Once in 2011 and again in both 2017 and 2018 with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He’s had a pair of cardiac ablation procedures during his big league career with the Dodgers.

Our best wishes go out to former Dodger Kenley Jansen.
