Last year, the Dodgers acquired star Trea Turner and Max Scherzer from the Washington Nationals in a blockbuster deal. Today, Trea Turner is returning back to Washington D.C. for the first time since the trade.
One of the teammates he reunited with is star Juan Soto. Here is what Trea Turner said about his former teammate:
“If there’s one guy I could play with again for sure it would be him.”
Recent reports indicated that the Nationals could end up trying to trade Juan Soto. Soto rather than extend his contract, considering the amount he’s due to make on any new deal.
If you remember, last year the Nationals superstar decided to travel front row to Dodger Stadium for the Wild Card game, supporting his former teammates at the time Trea Turner and Max Scherzer. Soto came rocking a Nationals Trea Turner jersey, his friend who battled him for the hitting title last year.
