The Boston Red Sox have added to their lineup. The Red Sox and Justin Turner Justin Turner have agreed to a two-year contract worth $22 million, according to several sources. The deal includes an opt out after 2023.
After the reports of Justin Turner signing with the Boston Red Sox came out, former Dodger and current Red Sox player Kiké Hernandez took to Twitter to react to the reported signing.
Although Turner has spent most of his career at third base, the 38-year-old Turner will likely to see most of his action at DH in Boston. In nine years with the Dodgers, Turner slashed .296/.375/.490, clubbed 156 home runs, and drove in 574 runs.
