According to Ken Rosenthal, Andrew Heaney will be reportedly signing with the Texas Rangers.
Heaney is coming off the best season of his career where he posted a 3.10 ERA over 72.2 innings with the Los Angeles Dodgers. He struck out 110 batters and had the highest fastball velocity of his career. Heaney changed his pitch mix and threw a dominant slider that had a 44.3% whiff rate.
The Dodgers this offseason have lost Tyler Anderson, Trea Turner, Tommy Kahnle and now Andrew Heaney.
