Dodgers Have Agreed To A Deal With Free Agent Pitcher Shelby Miller

According to Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers and Shelby Miller have agreed to a major league contract and the deal is pending a physical.

Miller has made 17 appearances at the major league level over the last three years. Miller was called upon four times out of the bullpen in San Francisco. The right-hander allowed five runs in seven innings for the Giants, but he struck out 14 while walking just three.

Dodgers have a history of bringing in pitchers to establish themselves including Tommy Kahnle & Tyler Anderson last year. There had been reports that Miller was weighing multiple major league contract offers, and ultimately he decided that the Dodgers were the best fit. He'll add another weapon to an already deep and talented bullpen.
