David Price Speaks Out On His Retirement Rumors

Yesterday ahead of Dodgers-Giants, reports surfaced that veteran pitcher David Price will be retiring after the 2022 season and calling it a career.

Before the game against the Giants, David Price came out and said that he has not officially made a decision on whether or not he is going to be retiring.

If this is it for the 5-time All-Star, he has built quite a career for himself, winning the 2012 Cy Young award, posting a career 3.32 ERA, over two thousand strikeouts, a 1.16 WHIP, and 157 total wins in his 14 year career. Price has contributed to teams like the Detroit Tigers, Toronto Blue Jays, Boston Red Sox, and the Los Angeles Dodgers after he came over in a trade in 2020 with Mookie Betts.
