Max Muncy will be staying with the Dodgers through the 2023 season.
Muncy and the Dodgers agreed on a one-year contract extension for $13.5 million for the 2023 season with a club option for the 2024 season for $10 million with incentives. The 31-year-old is tied for the August Major League lead in home runs which is 7. He is batting .328/.409/.776/1.185 with 15 RBI in 16 games this month.
Muncy is batting .190/.326/.386/.712 with 16 home runs and 47 RBI this season.
