Muncy suffered the contusion on a play in the field Wednesday night against the Twins and was then unable to grip a bat, so he got removed from the game. X-rays came back negative, though, and he will be reevaluated after the Dodgers' scheduled team off day on Thursday. They open up a three-game weekend series in Kansas City on Friday night. Muncy can be considered day-to-day for now.

Muncy took a one-hopper off his right hand against the Twins and tried to swing a bat afterward but could not and Hanser Alberto pinch-hit for him in the 5th inning. The team will see how Muncy feels on Friday after Thursday's off day and will reevaluate him then.

The Dodgers have won 10 in a row now after sweeping the San Francisco Giants, San Diego Padres and now the Minnesota Twins.
