Dodgers Are Trading Jake Lamb To The Seattle Mariners

The Mariners are acquiring Jake Lamb from the Dodgers for cash considerations according to Robert Murray of FanSided.

Lamb, 31, signed a minor league deal with the Dodgers in March and had his contract selected in late June. The acquisition of Joey Gallo left one hitter too many on the Dodgers' roster, so the team decided to deal Lamb to Seattle. Lamb has played almost exclusively against righties this season and has posted an .814 OPS against pitchers who throw with that hand.

Lamb appeared in 25 games for the Dodgers and hit .239/.338/.433 with two home runs.
