One Reporter States That Freddie Freeman-Blue Jays Is A Done Deal

Could Freddie Freeman be heading to the Blue Jays?

A reporter by the name of Carlos Baerga took to Instagram on Tuesday night and stated that Freddie Freeman is on his way to the Toronto Blue Jays. Here is what he stated on Instagram:

Well, my people its hot of these 3 teams, I understand that from today to tomorrow he will be signing with the Toronto Blue Jays. Remember that he is Canadian. What do you think or where will he sign?

Today, MLB Network's Jon Heyman reported Tuesday the Red Sox join three of their AL East rivals—the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays—along with the big-spending Los Angeles Dodgers in the Freeman sweepstakes. Atlanta selected Freeman in the second round of the 2007 draft. He had been with the organization for nearly 15 years, winning the 2020 National League MVP Award and helping guide the franchise to its first World Series title since 1995 in November.

One thing is for certain, nothing is done until it's done and the Dodgers have been heavily connected to Freeman even before the lockout as our own David Vassegh reported.
