The Dodgers recently reached an with outfielder Jason Martin according to Chris Hilburn.
If you remember, Martin has appeared in the majors in each of the past three seasons. Part of the Pirates’ four-player return from the Astros in the 2018 Gerrit Cole trade, he only tallied 51 trips to the plate in Pittsburgh over his first two seasons. He was drafted by the Houston Astros in the eighth round of the 2013 MLB draft. He signed and spent 2013 with the Gulf Coast Astros where he batted .251 with 17 RBIs and 11 stolen bases in 50 games.
Martin recently hit just .208/.248/.354 with six homers in his recent appearance in the majors.
