The Dodgers and Texas Rangers have made trade. The Dodgers Billy McKinney and Zach Reks to the Texas Rangers for cash considerations.
McKinney has played for five different teams across his four years in the league. It's no surprise that he hasn't been able to stick around anywhere for long, as his career .215/.286/.404 slash line isn't nearly good enough for a corner outfielder despite his decent power. While he's landed in an organization where at-bats should be comparatively easy to come by, it's still tough to see him carving out an everyday role there in Texas.
