The Dodgers have been dealing with injuries all year long and now, they have lost a key piece of the bullpen.
Dodgers Clayton Kershaw and Max Muncy to injury during the final weekend of the regular season, and now saw Justin Turner and Joe Kelly leave in this NLCS Series. Turner sustained a Grade 2 left hamstring strain on Wednesday night that has knocked him out for the remainder of the postseason. Turner was replaced on the Dodgers’ NLCS roster by Andy Burns.
Kelly, who started Game 5, failed to make it out of the first inning because of a right biceps strain. Today, the Dodgers made the decision that David Price will be replacing Kelly on the NLCS roster.
Dodgers look to even the series up at 3 tomorrow when they take on the Atlanta Braves in Game 6 of the NLCS.
