Walker Buehler Believes Trea Turner Isn't Being Talked About In MVP Race

The Dodgers didn't end up winning the NL West for a 9th consecutive year, but came away with a big win vs. the Brewers in the last game of the season.

Walker Buehler was brilliant and ended his day yesterday with 5 IP, 3 hits, 1 run, 1 walk, 11 strikeouts. After the game, Walker talked about this team heading in to the playoffs and why Trea Turner isn't being talked about enough with the national media.

I don't know why Trea isn't being spoken about in the MVP stuff. He's a special player and a game changing player. I think Trea Turner should be on the minds of some people because he is not being spoken about enough.

Turner finished his season hitting .328/.375/.536 with a 142 wRC+, 28 home runs, and 32 stolen bases. He led the NL in hits (195), steals, total bases (319), and fWAR (6.8). He’s the first Dodger to win a batting title since Tommy Davis in 1963.
