Dave Roberts Shares An Update On Joe Kelly's Injury

Joe Kelly got the final three outs of the Dodgers win over the Rockies but tweaked his hamstring right at the end of the game.

Kelly felt something while fielding C.J. Cron’s dribbler up the third base line to start the final inning.

Cron reached first base without a throw for an infield single, while Kelly tripped trying to field it. After talkings with a team trainer and Dave Roberts, Kelly threw a few warm-up pitches and remained in the game. Dave Roberts said Joe Kelly felt something in his hamstring, which led to him leaving the field with a slight limp. He will have treatment tomorrow and they will go from there.

This comes on the same day that the Dodgers placed Mookie Betts on the 10-day IL.
