Trevor Bauer Shares His Frustration After Dodgers Were Swept By Padres

The Los Angeles Dodgers were swept by the San Diego Padres on Wednesday and ended 3-3 on the 6 game road trip. Trevor Bauer after the series finale talked to reporters about the Dodgers being swept and needing more intensity moving forward:

“They absolutely kicked our ass from an intensity standpoint. They came to play and we didn’t. That’s what happens in baseball. You come out and try to attack the other team and try to win. When you don’t have that mindset, then you get rolled. We got rolled.”
“I think we knew it was going to be a difficult division. I don’t think anything’s changed. I don’t think anyone is surprised the Padres are good,” Bauer added.
“I don’t think anyone is surprised the Giants are good. I won’t put any extra emphasis on this game or this series, change expectations, or whatever. We knew this was going to be a thing. When you don’t play good baseball and you play a good team, you get beat. That’s what happened.”

The Dodgers return back home to the Ravine to take on the Chicago Cubs for a 3 game series before taking on the San Francisco Giants who are first place in the NL West.
