A future Hall Of Famer will be looking for a new team the rest of the season.
According to Mark Feinsand, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are going to be releasing Albert Pujols. Pujols as of right now is in the final year of his 10-year contract that its worth $253 million. Pujols is hitting .198/.250/.372 in 92 plate appearances this year. In his career, Pujols is .298/.376/.545 with 667 home runs and 2,112 RBIs. The Angels released a statement regarding Pujols:

Pujols, 41, is in the final year of the 10-year contract that drew him away from the only other team he ever played for, the St. Louis Cardinals. Primarily a first baseman and later a designated hitter, Pujols is one of the best the game will ever see & spent 21 seasons (including 2021) in the majors, a mainstay who was the undisputed best player in the National League, if not the whole of MLB, for nearly a decade.
