The PAC 12 dominance in the tournament has been fascinating to watch.
Johnny Juzang scored 17 points and 11th-seeded team blew out the Abilene Christian Wildcats 67-47 to become the fifth team to go from First Four to Sweet 16. This is their first regional semifinal appearance since 2017 and their first with second-year coach Mick Cronin.
The NCAA Tournament’s top No. 2 seed, Alabama (26-6, 16-2 SEC) will take on a UCLA team that posted an overall record of 20-9 (13-6 Pac-12) and will play in its fourth March Madness game, defeating Michigan State (86-80), BYU (73-62) and now Abilene Christian.
