Dodgers Renew The Contract Of Andrew Toles & Continue To Show Support

Over the last few weeks, we continue to hear encouraging news on outfielder Andrew Toles. Today According to ESPN, Dodgers continue to show support and will be renewing his contract. 

Others renewed Arizona right-hander Zac Gallen ($607,500/$287,500), Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andrew Toles ($583,500/$93,000), Atlanta pitcher Ian Anderson($575,500/$142,978) and Oakland catcher Sean Murphy ($575,500/$281,750).

In June of 2020, outfielder Andrew Toles was arrested in Florida for sleeping behind an airport in Key West but latest court records from Monroe County reveal that the charges against Toles have been dropped as he was seeking treatment for his mental health.

Toles was placed on the Dodgers' restricted list in March 2019 because of an undisclosed personal issue and hasn't played since. Over three seasons with the Dodgers, the native of Decatur, Georgia, was a big fan favorite on the Los Angeles Dodgers where many Dodger fans are still rooting for him off the field.
