Zlatan Ibrahimovic Doubles Down On Comments Towards LeBron James

Zlatan Ibrahimovic continues to engage in a war of words with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Ibrahimovic doubled down on his comments to James on Tuesday, saying "athletes should be athletes."

Ibrahimovic got in to it on Friday and essentially told James to stick to sports. James Saturday, saying he would continue to fight for those without a platform. James also pointed out a story in 2018, in which Ibrahimovic talked about facing racism in this country.

Ibrahimovic fired back on Tuesday and basically reiterated his initial stance, according to Reuters. Here is what he said:

Racism and politics are two different things. Athletes unite the world, politics divides it," he said.
Everyone is welcome in our environment, it doesn't matter where you come from and we are doing everything to bring people together.
My message? Athletes should be athletes, politicians should be politicians.

Tonight, the Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Phoenix Suns in the battle of the West. Just like in the game before, LeBron James will likely be asked about these comments once again made by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
