After controversial lyrics were put out by Meek Mill in a song, Vanessa Bryant speaks out on Monday night about the controversial lyrics. Here is what she said on a Instagram story tonight:
Dear meek mill, I find this line to be extremely insensitive and disrespectful. Period. I am not familiar with any of your music, but I believe you can do better than this. If you are a fan, fine, there's a better way to show your admiration for my husband. This lacks respect and tact.
The 33-year-old rapper Meek Mill has not yet released his collaboration song “Don’t Worry (RIP Kobe),” which also features hip-hop artist Lil Baby. However, the song leaked earlier last week, and some of the lyrics have been deemed disrespectful to Bryant, who died in January 2020 along with his daughter Gianna and several others in a helicopter crash.
