Theater Trolls The San Diego Padres Over Trevor Bauer Signing With Dodgers

On Friday morning a bombshell was dropped as Trevor Bauer announced he is heading to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Saturday, the historical Fox Theater decided to poke fun at the San Diego Padres after the signing of Trevor Bauer. Here is the sign that they put up:

Sorry Padres, there's always next year. Welcome home Trevor!

With all the talent on the Dodgers roster as of right now, it didn’t stop the Dodgers from giving the reigning NL Cy Young winner a three-year, $102 million deal on Friday – making him the league’s highest-paid player in each of the next two seasons at $40 and $45 million, respectively. After watching the San Diego Padres have a really good offseason by signing Blake Snell and Yu Darvish, Los Angeles came back swinging in a big way and ended the offseason with this huge splash.
