Former Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda, a member of the Hall of Fame, has been hospitalized and was to a hospital in Orange County around a month ago. According to Jon Heyman, Lasorda is still in the hospital and is still battling.
Friends and family of Dodgers Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda are still hoping he can get home from the hospital sometime soon. He was hoping to be home for Christmas but he’s still battling. Lasorda, 93, is an all time competitor and fighter. Best to Tommy!
Lasorda attended Game 6 of the World Series, the team statement said, when the Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays to win the franchise's seventh world championship. He managed the Dodgers for 21 seasons, winning the World Series in 1981 and 1988.
