Anthony Davis Agrees To A Five Year Extension With The Lakers

Denver Nuggets v Los Angeles Lakers - Game Two

The superstar forward agreed to a five-year, $190 million max deal to stay with the Los Angeles Lakers, multiple sources told ESPN and Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal includes an early termination option after the fourth year of the deal, in 2024-25.

The signing comes a day after his teammate James got an extension his own, worth $85 million over two additional years. The two superstars will now be teammates until at least 2023

Davis joined LeBron and the Lakers last offseason, instantly catapulting them from a lottery team to their first NBA title since 2009-10. Davis averaged 26.1 points per game, 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in his first season in LA.
