Lakers Kyle Kumza Reportedly Expecting A "Sizable" Deal From The Lakers

2020 NBA Finals - Game Six

Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma is eligible to sign a rookie-scale extension with the franchise this summer. If Kuzma and the Lakers can’t agree to a deal, he will enter restricted free agency in 2021 after Los Angeles offers him his qualifying offer.

After helping the Lakers win the 2020 title over the Miami Heat, Kuzma is looking to get paid by the Lakers. According to Brian Windhorst of ESPN, Kuzma is expecting a “sizable deal” from the Purple and Gold.

“Then you got Kyle Kuzma, who is extension eligible, still has a year left on his contract but is extension eligible,”Windhorst said on the Brian Windhorst & The Hoop Collectivepodcast, via Heavy.
“And from what I understand, he is expecting a sizable deal, hoping for a sizable deal.”
