The Los Angeles Lakers have finished the job and won the 2020 NBA Championship by defeating the Miami Heat in a six game series right here in Orlando.
LeBron James has done the impossible and he has won 4 championships with three different teams which puts him in an elite category. LeBron James arrived in Los Angeles in 2018, and was shunned by so many Laker fans.
Perhaps nobody is as excited to win as much as Anthony Davis. While James is chasing LA glory and another notch in the GOAT debate with Michael Jordan, Davis is has captured his first NBA and recognition as a true superstar NBA player that has eluded him through seven seasons of team mediocrity with the New Orleans Pelicans.
One thing we can all agree on, this championship was for Kobe Bryant.
