It’s clear that some fans feel like Kuzma has failed to live up to expectations that Los Angeles had for him when the Lakers drafted him a couple years ago.
One fan decided to go to change.org and create a petition that will not allow Kyle Kuzma to get a championship ring if indeed the Lakers do win the entire thing. Here is what he said.
“Kyle Kuzma shouldn't get a ring if the LA Lakers win the 2020 NBA Finals,” the petition reads. As of writing, the petition has collected over 4,000 signatures, with it seeking a max of 5,000.
Even with Kuzma's struggles, this LA team has been incredibly dominant throughout this entire. The LA team has pushed through the playoffs with a 14-3 overall record and a 2-0 lead in the Finals.
The Los Angeles Lakers take on the Miami Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals looking to go up 3-0. If they do, the Lakers will have a chance to close out and clinch their first championship since Kobe led the Lakers back in 2010.
