Last month, the Houston Astros came in to Los Angeles to take on the Dodgers for the first time since their 2017 sign-stealing scandal was revealed. While fans aren't allowed in the stadium to the coronavirus pandemic, they certainly let their feelings be known in other ways.
Dodgers fans headed near by to Dodger stadium to boo the Astros on their way into the complex, and they've got all the signs to make Houston feel shame. We also saw a banner flyover Dodger Stadium during the game with a special message on it.
Today, Josh Reddick spoke with the Houston Chronicle about Dodgers fans showing up outside the stadium that day and if we could possibly see it again.
“I thought there would be more. I was kind of disappointed that there weren’t enough out there (in September),” Reddick said. “I know I’m stirring that pot, but when I got there I was expecting to have my phone out ready to record, and I was kind of disappointed with the number that was out there.”
“All the Dodgers fans who probably still hold that grudge are going to be out here voicing their opinion, so we may see them here next week and see what they’re capable of and maybe we’ll have some more out there.
“The Astros and MLB have done a great job of getting our security out there and getting it maintained.”
