Dodgers-Giants Scheduled For Tonight Will Be Postponed To A Later Date

The trickle down effect from what took place in the NBA is happening right now in the MLB. The official announcement has come that The San Francisco Giants-Los Angeles Dodgers game that was schedule for 6:45pm tonight, has been postponed in light of the Jacob Blake shooting this past week in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Clayton Kershaw, and others have been outspoke about the racial injustice and the police brutality that is happening right now in America. In terms of the game, players from both the Giants and Dodgers had meetings with their teams and have decided to not play in todays game.

Makeup dates have not been announced for the Dodgers-Giants game or the other two matchups that were postponed today in Major League Baseball.

The NBA and the National Basketball Players Association today announced that in light of the Milwaukee Bucks’ decision to not take the floor today for Game 5 against the Orlando Magic, today’s three games – Bucks vs. Magic, Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers - have been postponed. Game 5 of each series will be rescheduled.
