Dodgers made sure to take over early as they had 4 runs and 4 hits which included a Corey Seager 3-run shot to give them the 4-0 advantage in the first inning alone. Then in the 3rd inning Corey Seager went deep again for a 2-run shot to get the Dodgers a 6-0 lead and ended up winning 7-3.

The Dodgers streak of seven consecutive division championships is the third longest since Major League Baseball began divisional play in 1969. The Atlanta Braves won 11 consecutive National League East titles from 1995-2005 and the New York Yankees won nine consecutive American League East titles from 1998-2006.

While the Dodgers have been poised to win another NL West title, their focus has to shift now to getting healthy in team for the postseason and pushing for that home-field advantage spot through the World Series. The Dodgers currently trail the Houston Astros and Yankees by two games.
