Police Issue An Arrest Warrant For DeMarcus Cousins

According to A.J. Perez from USA Today, an arrest warrant has now been issued out for DeMarcus Cousins after TMZ obtained footage of him allegedly threatening his baby mama. Here is what the Mobile police spokesman told USA Today:

The Mobile municipal court website lists a third-degree harassing communications charge against Cousins, but no other details have been disclosed. A police spokesperson told USA Today Sports that “an arrest warrant has been issued.”

Cousins' ex-girlfriend and the mother of his 7-year-old son filed a police report last Friday just a couple hours after she alleged Cousins threatened her and said that he would "put a bullet in your (expletive) head.” The phone conversation was recorded by Cousins’ ex-girlfriend and was obtained by TMZ in the beginning of the week.

The center missed a chunk of last season since he was recovering from an Achilles tear suffered in January 2018 when he was on the New Orleans Pelicans. He was also dealing with a quadriceps injury during the Warriors' playoff run that ended with the Toronto Raptors beating them in six games.
