Alex Rodriguez Has $500K Worth Of Jewelry, Electronics Stolen In Rental Car

88th MLB All-Star Game - Batting Practice

While Alex Rodriguez was covering the Sunday Night Baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and Philadelphia Phillies, Rodriguez's rental car was broken into and an estimated $500,000 of items were stolen.

Although San Francisco police say it's against department policy to release the name of a crime victim, multiple sources told The San Francisco Chronicle the vehicle belonging to the former Major League Baseball star-turned-broadcaster was parked about three blocks from Oracle Park. Some items that were stolen include bags, camera equipment, jewelry, and other electronics according to the police department.

According to The Chronicle's Evan Sernoffsky, they had rented an SUV for Rodriguez and other members of the broadcast team. They were out getting dinner after the game when the incident occurred, Sernoffsky wrote on Twitter.
