TMZ Sports obtained insane surveillance camera footage that captured a brawl between former Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Malik McDowell and a police officer. The crazy incident occurred inside a gas station convenience store in Lathrup Village, Michigan in February.
McDowell was pulled over after an officer witnessed his Jeep speeding and swerving out of control on the snowy roads. Malik stopped at a nearby gas station and started arguing with the officer.
The officer instructed McDowell to remain in his vehicle, but the 6'6", 230-pound tackle got out and went inside the convenience store. The officer tried to handcuff McDowell, but he fought back, and two began to wrestle on the ground, knocking over shelves of food.
The cop pulled out his taser and ordered McDowell to get on his stomach. McDowell refused and demanded to speak to the officer's supervisor.
The officer then tased McDowell, who got up and tackled him to the ground. The two continued to brawl until backup officers arrived and managed to subdue McDowell.
McDowell was taken into custody and charged with two counts of felony assaulting and resisting, one misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated and misdemeanor driving on a suspended license. His blood alcohol content was .189, which is over two times the legal limit.
