Company Offers To Pay Kawhi Leonard's Full Salary Up Front If He Signs

Kawhi Leonard has a big decision to make this summer.

A company by the name of Blockstation, which is a Toronto-based company that provides end-to-end digital asset trading platforms for stock exchanges, is offering to pay Kawhi Leonard's salary up front if he re-signs with the Raptors on the long five-year deal.

As part of the proposal, Blockstation says it will give the public the opportunity to invest in Leonard through a "Kawhi Coin" Security Token Offering listed on a national stock exchange, which would allow him to receive his money up front. Here is part of the proposal:

We write this letter to you for the following reasons:

  1. Provide you with an opportunity to maximize your capital and financial empire through your contracts and endorsements going forward.
  2. Provide the Best Fans in the World the opportunity to keep you with the Toronto Raptors.
  3. Provide you with the structure, technology and resources to receive your 5 year contract compensation up front upon signing with the Raptors.

Kawhi has already been offered a free penthouse to stay in Toronto and free food for life in efforts to keep him around.
