A man dressed up as Spider-Man ran into the court and collided with San Miguel center June Mar Fajardo in the fourth quarter of Game 5 of the PBA Philippine Cup finals Friday between Magnolia and San Miguel at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The still unidentified fan ran to the floor with 3:06 left in the game holding a sign saying “vote love!” but bumped hard into into a basketball player who was running back down the court for defense.
Security guards quickly rushed out to the court to control the fan who jumped went through hurdles to get on to the court. PBA commissioner Willie Marcial said in a press conference after that the man in the costume was taken to the nearest police station.
