It looks like there could be a chance that Marshawn Lynch returns to the field next year.
According to Steve Wyche of the NFL Network, a person close to Lynch says that the veteran running back would for sure return to the Raiders if the team wanted to bring him back. Lynch said just a few weeks ago that he is planning to hang it up.
Marshawn Lynch announced his first retirement on the same day as Super Bowl 50 in 2016. He sat out the following season but decided he wanted to come back and play football again. The Seattle Seahawks, who still had control of the running back, traded Lynch to the Oakland Raiders, where he has spent the last two seasons.
The Raiders this offseason went out a signed veteran running back Doug Martin, drafted star running back Josh Jacobs, and signed free agent running back Isaiah Crowell who unfortunately tore his Achilles.
