According to Dave McMenamin, the Los Angeles Lakers have interviewed former Milwaukee Bucks head coach Jason Kidd.
Jason Kidd interviewed for the Los Angeles Lakers’ head coaching vacancy Monday, multiple sources told ESPN.
Kidd’s interview was with general manager Rob Pelinka, as well as team executive Kurt Rambis and was conducted at the team’s practice facility in El Segundo, California. The interview with the Hall of Fame point guard lasted for several hours.
Kidd was the Bucks head coach since 2014. He has a 139–152 record in his 291 games coached in Milwaukee. His only previous coaching experience was a 44–38 season with the Brooklyn Nets in 2013-14.
