LeBron James Will Have Built-In Basketball Court On Set Of 'Space Jam 2'

LeBron James is going to have the longest summer he has had in over 10+ years due to missing the playoffs this year and will be determined to get this Lakers team back to the playoffs and beyond next year.

LeBron first announced that he will start working on Space Jam 2 during NBA All-Star Weekend in February and announced the film is set to be released on July 16, 2021. Although LeBron James will be filming Space Jam 2 this summer, the Lakers forward will make sure that he doesn't allow himself to slack off during the offseason by having a full-length basketball built on the movie's set, according to Joe Vardon ofThe Athletic

Back when Michael Jordan filmed Space Jam in 1995, he did so with help from the production to ensure that none of his offseason basketball workouts were going to be interrupted. They gave Jordan a full basketball court and Jordan's trainer Tim Grover revealed that “Initially, what they were going to do was just paint some lines on the parking lot and put a couple of hoops up."
