Therapist Says LeBron James’ Groin Injury Recovery Should’ve Taken 6 Months

In a post to Instagram this weekend, psychical therapist Dr. Karen Joubert who worked with LeBron James in his rehab from a major groin injury, shared just how serious his injury was. Here is a screen shot of Joubert's post

As a PT for 27 year s I have had the good fortune to work with some of the top athletes in the world...then came LeBron. I want you all to know how bad his injury was and is, the pain he endured. Along with his amazing trainer, Mike Mancias, he was on the court in 6 weeks, it should have been 6 months. Unselfishly, he endured pain, pain, pain. He did not want to let the Lakers down, the fans down. But I know what he went through! I learned about determination, the will to win, how to get the job done. He is a force to be reckoned win. @kingjames @mikemancias1

Joubert then deleted the post however after the comment section started to blow up with comments. James in his first season with the Lakers averaged 27.4 points, 8.1 assists, and 8.5 rebounds within 52 games during the 2018-19 season.
