Tomorrow is the big NBA deadline and many questions surround the Lakers if they can actually land Pelicans forward Anthony Davis. If somehow they aren't able to land him, the Lakers will turn their attention to someone LeBron has seen in the Finals the last couple of year.
Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Lakers are hoping the Golden State Warriors will not offer Klay Thompson a max deal, and if they don’t, they’ll be right there to give him what he wants and bring him to Los Angeles.
The Lakers as of right now have offered Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, Zubac, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and two first rounders for Anthony Davis and Solomon Hill. The Pelicans have not accepted or denied the offer as of right now.
