I've been warning fans that he may not be ready for Spring Training, certainly may not be ready to go for opening day. From what I saw from the throwing, he does not look like a guy that is 20 days away or 25 days away ready to make throws from shortstop in a game situation.
Even if he is not ready for opening day or the first two weeks of the regular season, the biggest part is to have him for the majority of the season even if he misses the first two weeks.
