According to Ken Rosenthal, the Dodgers are interested in signing free agent AJ Pollock to a deal.
Hearing increasing chatter about Dodgers interest in free-agent outfielder A.J. Pollock. No indication a deal is close, but he is a target for them. Offers ability to play CF and RH balance. Bellinger, Pederson, Toles, Verdugo all LH. Taylor and Hernandez RH, but also play IF.
Dodgers are indeed in discussions with Pollock, sources tell The Athletic.
Pollock, a 31-year-old, right-handed hitting, outfielder, has been with the Arizona Diamondbacks for the past 7 seasons. He is a career .281/.338/.467 hitter with 74 home runs, 264 RBI, .346 wOBA, 113 wRC+, and 17.2 wins above replacement.
