NFL Is Considering Moving The AFC Championship Game If Chargers Host

If the Los Angeles Chargers host the AFC Championship game, it looks it might not be hosted at Dignity Heath Sports Park (once known at Stub Hub Center).

According to Jason La Canfora, sources indicate that the NFL have had talks to relocate if the Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts both advance to the AFC Championship game.

Last month there were internal discussions about possibly playing Sunday night and Monday night championship games if both the Rams and Chargers do in fact have an AFC and NFC Championship game with both games being played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Right now nothing is official as of yet, the NFL is looking to move out of a 30,000 person stadium if in fact it does get to that point.
