Kobe Bryant is not one to hit the panic just yet on the Lakers.
In a response to a fan's message to him, Bryant tweeted out, "Relax. Entire squad is damn near out. Were playing pretty well before that #gethealthy #lakerfam."
The Lakers right now dropped all the way to eighth in the Western Conference with a 21-19 record, winning only three games out of their last 10. Bryant in this tweet points out that there's a good reason for the team's woes: their lack of health.
LeBron James continues to be sidelined with a groin injury that he suffered Christmas day vs. the Warriors. Rajon Rondo needs surgery for a ligament injury in his right ring finger while Kyle Kuzma meanwhile suffered a back contusion.
Today, the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a 108-86 blowout loss at the hands of the Timberwolves. Brandon Ingram had a team-high 16 shots but made just five for 13 points. Josh Hart was 3-of-12 (two were triples though), while Lonzo Ball and JaVale McGee combined to go 0-of-7. The Lakers hope to get LeBron and Kyle Kuzma back sometime within the next week or two.
