Dodgers Open To Signing Yasmani Grandal On One Year Deal

According to Jon Morosi, the Dodgers remain open to bringing back Yasmani Grandal on a one-year contract after he rejected a one-year, $17.9 million qualifying offer last month according to a source. It's unclear if the Dodgers still value one season of Grandal at $17.9 million. The amount that Wilson Ramos signed for wasn't anywhere near the $17.9 million that the Dodgers extended to Grandal.

Back in November, Grandal declined the Dodgers qualifying offer of $17.9 has garnered plenty of interest from around the league despite not reaching a deal to this point. Dodgers have been connected to J.T. Realmuto for the last month but it was reported by our David Vassegh that the Dodgers will not be parting ways with Cody Bellinger in a deal for Realmuto.

The Dodgers have made it clear they would have interest in re-signing him to a one-year contract if the opportunity presents itself.
