Dodgers Interested In Acquiring Catcher Yan Gomes

Earlier this month, Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal declined the Dodgers qualifying offer which now makes him a free agent. The Dodgers are now currently searching for a catcher they can replace Grandal.  

One player the Dodgers have been connected to is catcher Yan Gomes of the Cleveland Indians who was incredible last year hitting 16 home runs and 48 RBI's in 112 games with the Indians. The last few weeks, the Dodgers have been connected to Cleveland with rumors that they could be looking to deal Corey Kluber and Gomes could very well be involved in that deal. 

Gomes signed a six year deal before the 2014 season for just over $23 million and could a very affordable option Dodgers.
