Justin Turner Gives Praise For His Teammate Clayton Kershaw

Justin Turner talked to SportsNet LA's Alanna Rizzo at his annual Veteran's Day batting practice about this Dodgers offseason. One thing that came up was Clayton Kershaw returning to the Dodgers.

He is the Dodgers, obviously there is a lot of names up here on the wall that have had their numbers retired. Very few guys, when you say their name you think ‘Dodgers’. Whether it’s Tommy Lasorda, Don Newcomb, or Vin Scully; Clayton Kershaw definitely falls into that category.”

High praise for his teammate Clayton Kershaw who signed an extension for over three years and $93 million for him to return to the Dodgers just a couple of weeks ago.

Turner has been an outstanding part of the community ever since he has come to the Dodgers. Monday, he invited over 400 veterans to Dodgers stadium to take part in a batting practice. In an Instagram post, he expressed his gratitude to the men and women who serve the country.

Incredible feeling to be able to welcome over 400 veterans into my home away from home for batting practice today. I love being able to express my gratitude to these selfless women and men any chance I get. Thank you for your service and I hope you all had a great time at the ballpark today.

In a couple months, the Dodgers will be starting up Spring Training.
