Well so much for all those "Kyrie Irving going to the Knicks, Clippers, or Spurs" rumors.
The Boston Celtics point guard just announced that he is planning on re-signing with the Celtics next year at the AMEX Tip-Off Event.
This is huge news for Boston fans because if you remember back in June, Kyrie said that he would not consider an extension with the team since it didn't make any financial sense.
This team last season had tremendous success without Kyrie Irving and now they are looking to make statement this year.
Now that LeBron is out of the Eastern Conference, Boston with a core of Irving, Tatum, Hayward, and Brown can run the East for years to come.
