Dodgers Release LH Pitcher Adam Liberatore

The Dodgers have released left-handed pitcher Adam Liberatore. He was designated for assignment just last week when the Dodgers acquired Ryan Madson to help out the struggling bullpen.

Last season Liberatore was plaqued by injuries. The Dodgers made the decision to shut him down so that he could recover fully from his groin injury and forearm soreness.

He appeared in just 17 games for the Dodgers and posted a 2-1 record, 12 strikeouts, a 2.77 ERA in 13 innings.
